analytical writing--what should i major in?

What should I major in
With information explosion, nowadays no one can be an expert in as many aspects as Leonardo da Vinci did in the past. What we need to do is digging into one direction and trying to be the master. That is why we choose majors. However, according to surveys done in the last few decades, large amounts of people chose a career that was little connected to what they studied before; some even have a totally different job. This may attribute to the intense job-hunting market, but I insist that they may choose wrong majors during college education. But what should I major in?
Apparently, I need to find something that I am interested in and have a talent for it. For arts such as music, painting and photography, I want to enjoy them; nevertheless, I am not good at these. When I was a child, I spent most of the weekends learning drawings, playing instruments etc. But I failed to do well in all these subjects. I cannot select a course on which I spend most of the time bust receive least improvement if I chose that as my major, or I will suffer rather than enjoy.
Usually people consider future careers when choosing a major, just as businessmen, lawyers, doctors, historians or even politicians. But with considerate evaluation on myself, I think these majors do not fit me. I prefer logical thoughts rather than memorizing many strange words that confuse me all the time. In mathematics, we use several formulae to solve different problems, but in history or politics sometimes we use books of theories and still problems remain unsolved. Perhaps, I prefer questions with definite answers instead of uncertainties.
Characteristic is a must issue we need to consider when choosing a major. In my point of view on myself, I should do jobs with less social connection as businessmen have. Comparing with boisterous bars or KTVs, I enjoy quiet places more. A monthly party for me is enough and go hiking with a few friends is better than drinking alcohol with a houseful of active people. What is more, I do not resist trying new objects. In fact, I cannot repeat events for a long time. So majors such as accountings and actuary will never be my choice.
Having taken plenty of issues into account and getting rid of most majors, I am now sure that science and engineering is my main direction. Logical thoughts and calculations are always my strengths since my primary school. Exploring unknown world together with solving hard problems are also my interests. On the other hand, computer is fascinating to me. With computers, human make such great developments that has changed the world a lot. Having said this most careers are relied on computers. How can a metal box with a screen makes such a difference? With great passion and a strong thirst of knowledge, I think that is probably what I should major in.
However, I cannot limit my horizon just in this. Maybe I do not learn to appreciate others subjects until I get to know them deeper. That means to try different things. A famous example is KAI-FU LEE, who studied in Columbia University. He used to be a student in college of law, but he finally left as a computer science graduate because he found out his interest and talent on computer programming by accident when helping others. This reminds us that we never know something if we do not try them.

What should I major in? Perhaps I will choose computer science as a major considering the interests and features. Unless I am enthralled with other fields, I will stick in my way.
